THE EXPERT
Your Personal Computer Systems Technician
Solid State IT was founded by Alex, a formally trained Computer Systems Technician, with a simple mission: to take the headache out of modern technology and bring honest, reliable IT support back to the neighbourhood level.
After completing a two-year Computer Systems Technician program, Alex realized that while technology was advancing rapidly, residential users—especially seniors and home-office professionals—were often left behind, frustrated by overly complicated tech jargon and expensive corporate IT contracts. Solid State IT was born to bridge that gap as a dedicated "tech handyman" service.
Alex combines formal technical expertise in network architecture and hardware optimization with a genuine passion for helping people. Whether he is untangling a messy home Wi-Fi network, troubleshooting a stubborn PC, or designing an intuitive, hassle-free smart home ecosystem, his approach is always patient, clear, and focused on your specific needs. Solid State IT isn't just about fixing devices; it’s about empowering you to control your digital world with confidence. Proudly serving neighbours and families right here across the Niagara Region.
